Delist the timber wolves now

In recent years the population of timber wolves in Michigan and other states has increased to the point where the wolves could be delisted from endangered to threatened. An article at Michigan outdoor news discusses this issue. If wolves had been delisted many of the draconian regulations imposed by the endangered species act would no longer apply to the wolf. This is important because these regulations often drastically increase costs. If the wolf has stable populations as the USFWS states then there is no need to worry about delisting.
